This week's Hal Lindsey Presents looks at Revelation chapter 10. It may be the most ignored chapter in the book. Bible teachers tend gloss over it, skip it entirely, or talk about its poetic beauty. But in reality, it is an extremely important part of scripture.

Prior to this chapter, we see the world pummeled by a series of devastating judgments from God. And it's not over. The judgments coming next will bring the earth to a point where it can no longer sustain life apart from Christ coming just when He does. He will then reinstitute a new planetary ecology allowing life to flourish again.

Chapter 10 introduces an amazing person - an angel of high rank and great power. This angel acts as God's commander and as His ambassador. Revelation 10:1 says, "And I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire."

That rainbow has an amazing story and great significance at this point in Revelation. I call the angel, "the Ambassador from Galaxy H." I'll explain that title more on a future program, but here's a clue. "H" stands for Heaven.

Chapter 10 begins a great interlude in the Book of Revelation. The interlude lasts several chapters and tells us all kinds of important things about God's plan for the world. On this week's program, I present an overview of the last half of Revelation. It's important to get a wide view of things. It's like looking at a forest from the high ground. You get the big picture before going back in and examining it tree by tree.
